On August 17, 2020, the Spring Branch Presbyterian Academy will celebrate our 50th Anniversary.
As we look towards this school year, we have a lot to be grateful for at the Spring Branch Presbyterian Academy. We look forward to a year full of joyful and safe celebrations of our beloved Academy.
Academy History
On its first day of operation, the Day School had over 60 children enrolled, with Mrs. Evelyn Farmer serving as the Director. The Day School would later become known as the Spring Branch Presbyterian Learning Center. Then on February 22, 2001, it was renamed the Spring Branch Presbyterian Academy.
Since 2006, the Academy has been under the direction of Mrs. Renee Henry, and it has continued to live out its Mission:
“Care for children in an environment where they can learn and grow physically, intellectually, emotionally, socially and spiritually. Touch lives with the love of Jesus Christ and His teachings. Build the family through ministry.”
Generations of members have been students at the Day School/Learning Center/Academy, and some of the alumni have gone on to serve as active members on the Academy Board.
